About

There are many people that have had the wonderful opportunity to travel to distant lands. I am very gratetful for all of my adventures abroad and the experiences I have returned with. By far the most intriguing element of any trip has been the people I have met. Every country poses different challenges, language barriers, cultural differences, and even just the simple fact of being an American.

I started documenting my travels when I first left for the not so far off land of Costa Rica. Then, being the ripe young age of 18, my notes were scarce and experiences very typical of a new traveler. Even so, that trip inspired me to dig deeper into South America, into the friendy community-oriented cultures of Ecuador, Venezuela and Chile. There is something in my blood that draws me back to Latin America, something deep an inexplicable. I still feel the urge to re-visit Chile, and move on to Argentina. I will go back.

By day I am a freelance Motion Graphic Artist. You can usually find me in front of a computer screen designing promotional material for small businesses. In my free-time I love to venture into the mountains and explore new trails, create pastel or acrylic figure paintings, walk everywhere in my sandals, or just take it easy with a book. There is nothing more exciting than the prospect of a new trip. In traveling to different countries I find an immense ammount of inspiration to write. My purpose is to offer you yet another view of experiences and misadventures in far off lands.
